This breathtaking Murano Glass Bowl embodies the play of light and colors that characterizes the art of Venetian glass-making. The artistic look and brilliance of the bowl are achieved by using the famous Murano Glass technique called Sommerso. The invention of the Sommerso technique by Murano Glass masters in the 1930's revolutionized glassmaking.

This unique piece of art, the Murano Sommerso bowl, is handmade and may exhibit variations in colors, patterns, and even random bubbles inside the glass, which only add to its authenticity. With flares and scalloped edges, it has an Emerald Green color and a blue hue on the edges. The origin of this product is Venice, Italy. So beautiful, it's breathtaking!

Refer to the pictures for the size information. The bottom does not have any markings or stickers. The last picture shows that it glows under the blacklight. It is normal to find air bubbles and black specks inside the glass. The bowl has no cracks and has a few small flea-bites on the bottom edge at the smooth bottom, shown in pic 7. This item is being sold in its current used condition and does not come with any certificate of authenticity.

For any room, whether classic or contemporary in style, this gorgeous Murano Glass centerpiece is an instant conversation piece and a fine Venetian design accent. As a functional piece, it can hold sweets, fruits, or a potpourri. This glass bowl, despite its exquisite look, is heavy (2.385 lbs bowl only) and designed to become a family heirloom lovingly kept through generations.
